1990 marcoux vv still has incredible richness licorice and a bit of underbrush 1989 beaucastel has a slight medicinal note and an array of spice box and fine herbs sill has some tannins 1989 rayas this wine has a good amount of fresh tea and an underbrush zesty finish Fondalet 1985 still has wonderful freshness and a good amount of zesty spice most excellent

Sweet fruit

Amazing showing for this wine with an almost GC burgundy note.

A brilliant aged Syrah more reminiscent of Cote Rotie than anything else. It keeps getting more youthful and complex with air. Fantastic.

Clean and ready - impressive!

By all rights this should be dead, but there's depth, richness, and umami still. Would have been spectacular 5 yrs ago.
