I am guilty of never having a Bandol (as far as I can remember). This one was an absolute beauty (mourvedre I understand, but taken to a far more elegant expresion than the Spanish wines I have tried with this cepage. Great aging, red and dark fruit, cherries

High tannin low acid, very light sweetness not much earthyiness, which I would prefer more.
