Raspberry jam/fruit leather, wild herbs and spice, peppered beef jerky, mildly gripping tannin, great acid and stony minerality on the finish. Opened very early, but oh well, we only live once.

Delicious Mourvèdre a la Bandol -this 2011 is exceptional with black and red cherries, licorice root, vine clippings in all their pruned sap, and an herbaceous Mediterranean wisp of lavender. Such a star!
