Have had three bottles of this 2005 recently, it's terribly inconsistent. One bottle was amazing, one disappointing, one merely "solid"

Dark plummy purple. A little short, but still chewy and enjoyable.

First night - after 45 minutes or so - showed classic Bordeaux elements with complex nose and just enough earth in the mouth
Really good value play. Dependable everyday wine
Day 2 - despite being sprayed - was all gone without a trace of spoilage
Finish it when you open it
