Raspberries, leather, dried shitake mushroom on the nose. Bright red fruit up front on the palate, gripping tannins, lingering plum finish. My first Pomerol, a bit young and nervy. After being open a day, I come back to it and there is an aroma of freshly opened canned of tennis balls.
