Comparison between 05 and 18. 05 is crushing it. Such a beauty showing that an oak-influenced Sauvignon Blanc-Sémillon blend can be this good, rivals with those best whites in burgundy. If you buy newer vintages, please be patient. Wait till at least 10 years to open it!

This is MASSIVE! A bomb, ripe and powerful with a fantastic acidity. This is true Yquem material: viscous, intense, balanced and fresh. I absolutely loved it. Not my style of Sauvignon Blanc but surely a terrific one. This is winemaking to a whole different level.

2005 Ygrec... Huge fruit, dried pineapple, apricot, flowers... But dry and elegant. Shows some grassy notes. Looooong. $$$ but so very fun to try.
