Drank it through Coravin in a few sessions over 6 months. Bad idea. It wasn’t until I pulled the cork and waited a day that the concentrated bramble fruit showed up and the tannins subsided, revealing a balanced, concentrated and complex wine, with vanilla, anise, deep red cherry

Loved this wine. Layered bouquet of blackberries, a hint of vanilla, and light currants. The mouth feel is round, full and lush, and the finish of s as layered as the nose. Tannins are beginning to soften, and this wine will taste even better in several years. A wonderful sipper that I enjoyed the entire evening.

This was a great QPR wine. Ranged from dark red to black and blue (blackberries and blueberries popped once it sat open) with chewy tannins, and had nice length. At $40 I didn't expect this. I'd like to get some more and cellar them to see how these evolve.

Potential is definitely there, but not in the prime drinking window yet. Still somewhat tannic with strong oak tones.
