75% Cab and 25% Merlot. Dark fruit. High in tannin. Fruit seems to have slipped in the mouth but it does explode out of the glass. Al seems in check. A bit of acidic finish.

May 10, 2016. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet franc, 20% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot. Lovely left bank Bordeaux blend. Not a lot of tannin, good acidity, spicy finish. Yum

Everything we love about Bordeaux, under $60. Finish that never ends...I may never brush my teeth again.

Almost too easy to drink but made with an elegance that many modern wines lack.

Classic style from a classic vintage. A great estate in Pauillac with a storied history. The 2010 is balanced and showcases what all the great Bordeaux from Pauillac should have: firm tannins, good acidity, and of course some pencil shavings. Drink now and over the next 5-7 years.
