Awkward and rather closed. Muted aromatics. Palate is fairly rich but not much going on. Disappointing considering how consistent this wine has been in other vintages even when young.

Enjoyed 2 bottles of 2013 with William/Abby and Allison/Ollie. Paired magnificently with rib roast dinner. Full bodied without being overpowering, well balanced, full of fruit.

Disappointing CdP. Lacks the character, depth, layers, nuance...mild finish. It's possible that this wine will grow better with age, but I see no reason to hold out hope for this.
I'll never buy this vintage of this vineyard's offerings again and will need convincing before buying a future vintage from Chateau Fortia.
We can do so very much better in CdP
