Enjoyed this Pauillac, smooth right from the start, was even better on day 2. Nice nose, great color with a hint of brown on the edge. Some sediment. Picked up at Costco 1+ yr ago for $18 - not sure if I'll be able find more. Bummer. Enjoyed with a nice summer pasta dish with cherry tomatoes, squash, basil and saffron. Cheers.

Dominant Cabert Sauvignon (85%), fruity and relatively light, despite the deep ruby colour. The oak wooden scent can be quite overwhelming as you go through the bottle. Still, very enjoyable and easy to drink.

Beautiful Bordeaux nose of light black and red fruits. Ok on the palate with a medium finish. A touch of green on the finish.

There's some Wookie in here (it's quite chewy). Needs a good breathe, but after a 24hr is nicely rounded for a difficult vintage
