Incredibly powerful Merlot with massive tannins, intense earth and sexy creme de cassis character. Smoke, plum, blueberry, black currant, espresso, chocolate, tobacco. Very ripe style- quite extracted and still showing the tannic grip of youth. Given some more maturity and oak integration this could very well be a stunner.

Wonderful dark, rich wine. It feels like it is still maturing. Wonderful to drink now with rich salty flavour and rich strong tannins, suggesting that this will continue to improve for several years to come before reaching its peak.
