Jun 9th, 2018Killer aromatics! Savory. Graphite, gravel, crunchy cranberry with blackberries and tar. Very perfumed. Youthful and tannic profile. Cherry cordial and red licorice toward the front palate, turning more dusty and cedar driven toward the finish with currant and underripe black cherries. Hold.

It never disappoints, this one is still a little young but a great pauillac with graphic , dark fruit and just starting to show more complexity. The 2012 is on the market for $50 probably one of the better Cabernet values in the market especially given Napa prices recently. As for this 05, drink now or over the next 20 years
