I know 98 wasn’t a special year but the Gruaud Larose is still excellent. This wine has legs to go further as well. Cigar box and blackberries with cream. Finishes forever

Elegant - hints of spice and leather on the nose. Some tannins still evident but smooth and well refined. A bit of bite on the finish A but mellowing and evolving. Fun and worth the wait...

Fine tannins, nice structure, great finish, very ready to drink, generous and friendly compared to some other vintages from the 90's, great balance! I could have taken another bottle 😉
