Took a while to come out but when it did it was excellent. A few too many high notes and spice to be a higher score and the nose wasn’t my favourite. Cherries and cigar box on the nose, morello cherry on the palette. All told, I’d certainly recommend it, perhaps I’d give it another 5years though. — 2 years ago
Blackcurrant and vanilla in the nose. Creamy oak on the palette. We’ll make bottle of wine liked it a lot. Meeting lacking some complexity but am excellent Double drinker — 3 years ago
Lovely drinking wine. Medium body, spicy finish, red fruits on the nose, hint of oak to round it out. Hot day in Puglia makes it — a year ago
Bought En Primeur, and kept until now to drink. Drinking well right now, but has legs to go for a few more years easily.
Blackcurrant and dark fruits nicely balanced with strong tannins very enjoyable — a year ago
My kind of rosé! Dry and mineral, no fruit on the nose and only a hint on the palette. Possibly would have been better last year but still very good wine. — 2 years ago
I know 98 wasn’t a special year but the Gruaud Larose is still excellent. This wine has legs to go further as well.
Cigar box and blackberries with cream. Finishes forever — a year ago

More delicate than I’d like. Lacking a bit of power. However, it’s clearly a great wine, the balance and quality shine, just feels like an average year for a great chateau. — 2 years ago
JLT does it again. This is a great wine, easily the best example of its region I’ve had. Blackcurrant and red cherry, backed up by leathery secondary flavours. Spicy long finish. Excellent. — 3 years ago

This is a delight, cigar box, prunes and black fruits on the nose. The balance between the negroamaro and the malvasisa is spot on and both are used to give the right balance.
I think this is a great example of Puglian wine and what a good producer can create here. #dont get me wrong a Bordeaux cru classe this is not, but a good wine and a great example of the region it is. — a year ago
