Proper temp and a 2 hr decant. Much better, but nothing remarkable. Probably worth shelving a couple years. JC liked it more than I did, which is very unusual given she's typically a hard sell on anything Old World.

Dec 22nd, 2015I've only found a small number of BDX that I really love and this wasn't one of them. It wasn't bad though. Served at room temp so I'd love to try again with a slight chill.

Dec 19th, 20152009 Bordeaux is so expensive, I've had to try 2nd labels of 2nd labels. I've never had La Fleur (big $), but have had Haut-Bages Liberal in the past (don't consider it worth $50). This $26 Paulliac (Costco) expressed a nice balance and forward fruit. Not mind blowing by any means, but worth a second try. Didn't quite have the depth of a classic blend. Cheers!
