Powerhouse Merlot. Tons of minerality and dense tannic structure. Primary fruit is a bit buried by tobacco, spicebox and chocolate but that is not wholly a bad thing. There is lots of character and cellarability here.

Feels like its in an awkward place where primary fruits starting to fade away while waiting for territorial notes to develop. Structure is there for further development with firm tannins and vibrant acidity. A bit over oaked. A great deal for $25.00.
