2014 vintage. This seems to be a commercial brand, registered by the Peyronie family (Château Fonbadet). The INAO tried to forbid it, but Peyronie won in appeal, and they can continue to use the brands Château Pauillac and Château Haut-Pauillac. I have no idea if the wines under these labels are produced from grapes in the Fonbadet vineyards, if they are second wines, etc. However, this is a nice, fully mature old-school Pauillac that I found in a supermarket for a ridiculously low price. Abv. 13%.
