After an hour or two breathing this really opened up and starts to provide. The initial mustiness seems to have blown off, replaced by some violet and dark red/blue fruit notes, topped of with eucalyptus. Dark red fruit and some smooth tannin provides medium weight but mouth coating structure before it tails off after a lengthy finish. Really a pleasant surprise tonight. Lovely stuff.

Nice classical pauillac nose with a subtile earthiness. Black currant and cherries on the palate. Strong acidity. The wine isn't ample but quite long. Good wine for the vintage
