A great value and a great wine. With the 1970 vintage, the best La Lagune ever made. Still some fruit, coffee, cigar box. Very pleasant and a bargain under $80 a bottle

Beginning to open after about 3 hours. This could have several more years at least. Blackberry, graphite, tobacco, vegetal notes, and still some violets/rose. Even some white pepper. Surprisingly though, this still has quite some tannin left.
