Beautiful deepness and finesse

Phenomenal wine and perfect accompaniment to a wonderful meal…..
However, this is usually one of our favorite (highest rated……by way of our very complex tasting algorithm 😉 ) wines of the year but for some reason this 2008 vintage was just missing something…..still great but not the best we’ve had

Great future but the 08’s are too young & need a another 5-10 yrs.

A bit tight and not as much in the nose. Had a nice decant. Good mouthfeel. 08 might not be a great vintage for this otherwise great producer.

a small celebration party on a monday evening.....this LMHB is a Monster! Powerful classic styled claret for the long term.....

Great wine especially with steak.

I would revisit in another 10 years as this is showing a lot of tannins with some Black fruits along with cedar, smoke, mineral and green tea notes. Just needs more time to strut it's stuff!
