Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend

OoLaLa got a taste of this beauty. Blend of 39% Syrah, 37% Grenache & 22% Mourvèdre, aged in new French oak. Deep Ruby with aromas of red fruits, floral and spice. On the palate strawberry, plum and black cherry flavors with sweet herbs and exotic rustic spices, well balanced. Long finish with complex fruit, sweet vanilla cedar and mineral ending. Nose: candied cherry, blueberry, red plum, cinnamon.
Taste: blueberry, fig, raisins, coffee, dark chocolate, medium plus tannins.
48% Grenache, 29% Syrah, 22% Mourvèdre, 1% Cinsault.

Comfortable and satisfying with more impact on palate than nose. Solid but not outstanding example of CDP.
