Vintage 2003 / I like this low yield wine from Cot because it has a rich smell combining shy red fruit and earthyness. Not an easy middle of the road wine, it needs cellaring to fully give its expressions and even now after 16 years it has much future left. A certain stubborness, better call it character. Much to discover. Paired with one of my favorite dishes: meatballs from lamb and fresh capucins with a mild mustard fond/sauce.
