2005 vintage. Talented winemaker Jérôme Eymas doesn't produce a wine under this "Prestige" label anymore, but at the time it was a premium wine and it shows the ageing potential of his wines. A blend of Merlot (75%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (25%) from the best grapes of his oldest vines, aged for 12 months in oak. Attractive nose of strawberry jam, dried herbs and a hint of leather. Fully mature and well-balanced with a soft mouthfeel, a certain complexity and good length. Drinking beautifully now, probably at its peak. Abv. 13%.
