Last wine in flight three for the Bordeaux Master's Class at Heart's Delight with all wines from Margaux.

Deep garnet red. Rather elegant with some floral notes but still a little dirty and notes of dried red cherries. A touch nutty underneath as well. Solid acidity, rounded and well integrated with medium tannins (6.5/10). Layered with earth characteristics, mushrooms, leather, red berries, gravel and a hint of dark cocoa. Medium bodied and long finish. Still packs a punch with a touch of alcohol in the finish, but not unbalanced. Drink till 2033.

Lovely. Balance between richness, ripeness and structure.

An elegant, feminine style, lovely smoky pencil lead and cassis jam, touches of tobacco leaf and root beer. Elegant and mineral, med+ weight, plenty of smoky dark fruit and lead, reasonable acidity and very supple, refined tannin. Easygoing on the finish, a classy lady for the medium term.

Unique almost orange hue upon decanting. A great deal of clay on the nose.

An elegant spirited lady. Complicated, indeed, lots of character and many interesting flavor points. A long finish with a bit of kick. Balanced none the less.
