Solid bottle! 2010 is going to be a stunner for Bordeaux

Exactly what you would expect from Bordeaux. Excellent. definitely needs more time but really quite an impressive second wine.

Very fruit and delicious early on in decanting and after opening. Showed very well with less air contact. Super interesting that it lost a bit of its luster as it got airtime

Overall did well at Bocuse restaurant at CIA NY.

It was very good but not fantastic or special. Long decant definitely improved it (drank over 6 hours). Very well balanced if a little narrow. Consistent fruit notes with some earthiness. Wanted to like this even more but it seemed to ultimately under punch it’s weight a bit to me.

Solid foundation perhaps opened too soon. Not overwhelmed nor surprised (solid but lacked the wow effect I’ve gotten on premier crus or second growths that are a third or half the price)

Commanderie de Bordeaux. Theme was BBQ and 2010 vintage. Fantastic event. Needed more decant time.

Dark, dense ruby. Explosive nose of dark fruits, flowers in the spring, pencil shavings, mint. Very mouthwatering. Velvety tannins, full body, medium plus acidity. Ripe, rich, and complex. Mineral aftertaste and long finish. 95-96.
