2016 vintage. This small Cru Bourgeois estate is situated in the northern part of the Médoc appellation. Equal parts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot (45% each) with 8% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc, aged for 12 months in used barriques. Easy-drinking with rather jammy fruit and soft tannin. Obvious alcohol heat in the finish. Uncomplicated crowd pleaser, decent value at 9 euros. Abv. 14 %
