The wine had a deep Bordeaux color, the nose is full of black current, chocolate , coffee and smokey earth, it has a full body with firm tannin that needs to open up and will soften with time, long dry finish. My score 90+, drink 2016-2022

Jul 19th, 2021Dark almost black color, tar tobacco leathery nose, rich luscious chewy fruit with gentle tannins and great structure. Very enjoyable now but great for the next 5-10 years.

Très rive gauche au nez, cassis, cèdre, graphite, de la violette aussi et réglisse. Une bouche riche et généreuse, puissante et élégante, beaucoup de classe et un équilibre exemplaire avec une excellente finale, très beau 2008. 93-94

Mid - full and 2008 is not too close to full compared with 2010, so it has elegancy. But more than one hour decanting should be necessary. 2 hours, much more fruity with spiciness and lots of tanning. @4000, Winano - BBQ G, 190917-190928
