Provenance is everything. Wonderful bottle with the floral elegant nose you expect from mature Margaux. In company was the wine direct of Alain ducasse in Monaco who said he'd never had as good a bottle of this in France! From a cellar where it never moved for 35 years. Really lovely surprise.

Upon opening in was bitter but 30 minutes in the decanter and it was fantastic. Still had strong tannins. This was not done yet by any means. Spectacular tobacco and leather noted
