The nose is suspicious just after opening the bottle - very earthy and mushroomy, but opens up very nicely. Drinks with nice red fruit upfront and an outstanding finish highly reminiscent of truffles. A very nice wine off the beaten track!

Deep meaty aromas permeate, with mature fruit, balsamic savory notes. Tannins are surprisingly grippy, with a spice and pepper core that compliments its round, soft fruity finish. Herbaceous and complex. Serious wine here, Merlot as it should be.
