I love surprises. I bought this 15 years ago to have one night with a bowl of pasta. I didn’t expect to wait this long but I’m glad I did. Gorgeous and fully mature, just how I like my women. 😀. Nice gritty fruit, very complex with an earthy/forest floor profile. Who says the vintage has to be perfect? Not me

Feb 27th, 2020I was expecting less from this wine which is probably why I opened it on a Sunday night. . I've had it before and was very disappointed. This time there was less barnyard flavors and it had a wonderful backbone of slate and black fruit flavors. Very good for an 02
