Very good. Tastes more cab than merlot. Not too full-bodied, but still a heavy and satisfying red. Will buy again, especially at this price point.

I visited Bourg a few years back. I like the weight of the wines and especially like what seems to be the trademark lead/pencil shavings flavours, perhaps a little graphite too. Lots of interest for a tenner and generally lovely. Look forward to trying some other vintages in the future.

Lovely dark, rich red. Easy to drink with a warm feeling after. Bold, smokey, spicy.
