In a perfect place for drinking right now. Lots of ripe plum, blackberry, earth, licorice, tobacco, and dark chocolate round out the nose. Still has some noticeable oak. It is certainly lush and opulent, though there is adequate freshness. A really nice finish with impressive length. Overall pleasantly surprised by this. It successfully walks the line of opulent ripeness without being too forward.

Bright but dark ruby. Opaque. Big nose with black fruit and some wood. Young, still some powerful tannins. Has the fruit, structure and acidity to last decades. Wanted to see where a 2000 was at. Needs many more years to grow some secondary complexity.

My first tasting note on Delectable. Most of the notes of wines from my cellar are on Cellar Tracker. Fabulous surprise. Classic cedar, underbrush, cool reddish black fruits and dark florals. Perfectly medium bodied, medium acidity, fully resolved tannins and well integrated wood, and a long silky and perfumed wood finish.

Beautiful wine in great condition. Very nice dark plum color. Tons of dark cherry and dark fruit in general. Really a very nice and complete wine - deep and full, long finish, still good acid.

Grand Cru St Emillion Quinalt 2000 is a beautiful rich still youthful wine that has the nose of crushed blueberries , stunning fruit on the palate and great length.

A little sediment, no overt signs of age. Don’t think this is getting any better, it may be on the downslope. Throughly enjoyable after about an hour of air, but not spectacular.

Enjoyed at Yan's with MK with Mongolian Lamb and a ribeye
Open for an hour before we poured
Wish we had decanted for 90 minutes
Opened nicely and drank like it was in its prime
