This Chateau had more struggles than wins up until the 2005 vintage. With 2005, they made a little magic.
This showed nice, ripe, fruits and beautiful integration along with classic Margaux traits. Again, wanted to write real time notes and it just did not workout.

Really good steak pairing. A little past its prime but lots of fresh fruit flavor. Finish is short but due to age. Drank with Kevin and Josh M and their boys with grilled steak, potatoes, and oven broccoli.

Lovely wine. Dominated by flowers and cow shit throughout. Nice depth with a great texture. My style. Very expressive wine.

2005 just across the road from Ch Palmer in Issan lots of Cabernet Sauvignon in a block of black fruits oak still on the palette, a strong wine will endeavour to keep my other bottles for a few more years either to relax or fall of a cliff
