Aromas of granny smith apple and freshly cut grass. Pretty acidic with a clean finish, slightly sweet at first but with a salty snack that sweetness gets cut nicely. Overall, a good wine.

1 person found it helpfulFeb 3rd, 2019Pineapple, nutty, vanilla, lemon oil, and mellow. I don’t know very much about white wines, but I do know I like these more buttery, less acidic ones. Had it with a nice burger and fries and it paired nicely. UPDATE. Corked it last night and had it the following evening. It’s much more popcorn-y and, not even joking, like a damn shrimp cocktail on the nose.

Dec 6th, 2019Definitely a California style Chardonnay. Ripe, fruity and focused on the varietal. So much caramel with hints of vanilla / butterscotch plus drying along gum (oak tannin). Some butter. Medium acid. “A well made Chardonnay with one foot in the 1980s”. Wasn’t the orange creamsicle of some chards of old though
