This was a fun wine. When opened at first, it was closed up and out of balance. Good for a taste but not a whole glass. We moved on to some other bottles and I brought it home, planning to most likely throw it out. However, to my surprise it had fattened up, the aromatics had increased and the balance was good. It was a great example of a left bank bordeaux just slightly pass maturity.
