Château Teyssier
Le Dôme Saint-Emilion Red Bordeaux Blend
Mark and I agreed to meet up at Classic this afternoon for some quick wine drinking, but it eventually turned in to a small wine gathering! Wine is great, but sharing it with others is so enjoyable.
For those who care, this was a Parker 100, and I am happy to report that I can at least see the reason behind it. 80% cab franc, 20% Merlot...LOVE those percentages! Not even close to peaking, but so freaking good now. No green pepper here. Blackberry, creme de cassis, no harsh tannins, very well integrated. I don't foresee this going 20+yrs, but my goodness it is silky smooth now!

Already drinking well, but still huge. So much balance. Give it 5-15 more years to hit its stride

Aug 4th, 2017Love Le Dome and this is delish, but honestly I'd rather have 3 bottles of 2008 than 1 of 2010. 😋🍷💸💸💸

Jul 2nd, 2015Difficult for me to give a good review, this is so concentrated and fruity young stuff. 100 Parker points. For me at this moment no score. Time will tell and the wine lovers who appreciate thick and heavy wines will cheer.
