Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend

I brought this. Dark reddish tawny, almost opaque. Notes of black cherries, earth, smoke and hickory wood, some red sweet fruit. In the mouth this is rich and palate-coating with lots going on. Silky. Really good showing.

Very rare in mag

In Mag love the structure with the rich black, red cherry & berry fruits, perfumed nose, sweet spices, perfumed & floral nose. This wax my wotf. Maybe the magnum factor!

Taba corchado

Great example of how well a properly kept old wine can be. This was a time capsule wine and drank much younger that it’s 47yrs. Bright, lively and full of fruit with great secondary notes of cedar, dark fruit and smoke. What a treat.

Corked...

This wine caught me by surprise. In Fantastic condition. Great color still, round elegant layered fruit and tertiary notes. Tastes 15 years younger and might over shadow some of the big boys. If you own this, don't underestimate it. Wow

As good as the 1970. Rated with Petrus on two occasions. Best of show both times.

Intense color with heavy spice and oak notes. Very complex.

Over the hill and down the other side.
