Two hours post-decant and it’s just starting to sing, but not loudly. Bright red cherry fruit walking hand-in-hand with black tea and tobacco. Silky but grippy tannins, and a sotto voce line of acid that makes this wine almost impossible to put down. Getting brighter and lighter by the minute. Moving from power to elegance. Such a treat.

Rich tannins. Dark color. Still has time. Decantered 3-hours early before serving. Delicious.
