The never released 2011 vintage, but finally after 10 years, felt it met his standards and released. Ony 3 barrels of this old vine cab.

1 hour decant (some cloudy sediment) A splended dark purplish magenta color. On the nose: beautiful notes of blackberry, green bell pepper, slight menthol, tobacco, black olives. Taste: Wow! Smooth, rich, juicy, silky mouthfeel, medium plus body wine with dark fruit, earth, leather, green veggies, and a minerally espresso slight tannic kick long ending finish. Punches above its weight class for the wine critics maligned 2011 vintage!
