Very light gold in the glass with a nose of rose petals, strawberries, pears, and oranges. I don’t drink very many Whites and almost never Gewurtztraminer, so I’m definitely no expert here but I’m digging this California/Alsace style. Nice notes of grapefruit and lemons on the palate, being joined by herbs and bright acidity. I wanted just a touch more spice on the palate and especially the finish but this more than gets the job done.
