Took @Brad Hemmer 's advice re: decanting and after an hour it opened up beautifully - smells like pine needles on a wet forest floor, a little astringent on the palate with nice tannins, peppercorns, and prunes.  Coca-cola and mushroom-y finish... mmm

Kangarilla Old Vines Grenache. Agree with cherry and berry described by RP who gave it a 94. Still a hint of overly jammy but alongside an elegance that speaks to the potential of this grape in Australia
