Nice, rich maybe still heavy as it is in its youth as most of Chateauneuf - a great classic and well known wine - needs time to get rounder - little spicy notes it is an intense wine - see you in a few years

90+ Quite pleasantly surprised on this one given some commentary on other sites. Opened a Magnum bottle and it is showing well. Deep purple color, plum and blackberry fruit, a hint of spice, silky smooth. I'm not sure how much longer this has left in the bottle, but I don't think it's a short life left. Time shall tell!
