Outstanding, a solid and well made classic style of CdP, one of the better I have had in a while. The color was a purple red, with a dark red core. The nose was licorice, currants and lots of kirsch with some spice. The palate was intense and brooding with the same kirsch, licorice, and plum sauce with some spice. The tannins are ripe and perfectly integrated and the finish is crazy long and expansive.

This really developed nicely: dark ruby, no longer opaque w/minor bricking. Soaring aromas of all manner of red berry fruit, very ripe sweet spot, sweet spice, licorice, bit foresty, garrigue, - just spot on. Cohesive balanced mid-palate, lost some weight but very elegant & generous. So much raspberry, strawberry, kirsch liqueur, brambly, white pepper. Nice length on finish. This is peaking - refined example of regal CDP.

A terrific wine. Blackberry and boysenberry and oak and vanilla on the palate. Long finish, smooth no tannins.

We had this on 11/17/15. Really good CndP. Tastes of boysenberry and earth. Full bodied for this 2007 vintage. Alcohol is 15%. Got this fromnAWM.

Drank over 2 days. Big wine with upfront dark fruits dried herbs and cedar. Tons of heat that was a bit more balanced on day 2.

A rare cdp given that the alcohol content is higher than any CDP produced. At 17% clos de brusquieres needed special permission from the appellation to release this. The wine is rich and powerful and is among the best the region offers.

Rockin cdp, luscious flavors and lots of density.
