Deep ruby color with a restrained, elegant nose of black cherry, red cherry, wild strawberry, blackberry and leather. Medium, fine-grained tannins and a medium finish - the juicy wine is still compact but should develop very well over the next couple of years.

Great perfumes, red and purple flowers on the nose. Mid fruits and beautiful elegance on the palate. Tasted at Clos Erasmus with Daphne.

Still hefty but much more approachable (at this point) than the flagship. Powerful dark fruits, ripe and structured, elegant and mineraled

Nose feels like its right on the edge. Cedar, tobacco, vanilla. Fruit leather, stewed prune dried flowers and strawberry. Fully developed.kinda comes together on the palate though. Still has richness and acidity keeps the finish fresh. The muskiness of it is a bit suspect at first, but once you settle in this will take you on a wild ride!
