Really fabulous color for a 50 year old wine. Deep garnet and hardly getting brickish. Classic Left Bank, showing plum and other blue fruits, with some leafy elements too. Not the most exciting bottle, but a thrill to find in such beautiful shape.

Awesome soya nose; proteiny/saucy, earthy. Mature but still vibrant with tomato tang and seawater/iodine. Perfect old wine.
