Hugely disappointed in this. I had a note on the bottle from 2008 saying not to open before 2016. I can't recall where I might have read that but I thought it would be special to have it on New Years Eve with some nice filet mignon. The wine was very flat. No acidity. No tanin. I don't know if it passed it's peak, or just wasn't that good to begin with. We don't lay down too many wines.
