👃 On the nose, this wine has a medium intensity of developing aromas (due to the presence of some tertiary notes). Aromas include primary notes of fresh black cherry, blueberry, black currant, violets, licorice, also secondary notes of nutmeg, clove, cedar, and tertiary notes of earth, meat, leather, and tobacco.
👄 The palate is dry and offers medium acidity, a medium(+) body, high alcohol, medium tannins, and medium intensity of flavors consistent with the nose. The finish is medium.
This wine has great balance, nice complexity, and intensity. It’s a Grenache blend from the fabulous Southern Rhône Cru of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
