Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend

Lots of tannins. Pure fruit but not rounded out enough for me

With lamb chops, cauliflower purée and fried okra-- perfect.

Very nice, fruity, powerful, however I noticed some silver flakes in the bottom of my glass

A delicious and affordable pomerol, very well balanced and drinkable on first pour. Its nose captures hints at it's early homes (farm & cask). Goes super well with mushrooms served up in a scallop broth @ Bin 54, in Chapel Hill, which is a favorite of mine and a rather perfect steak house not to be missed! Cheers
