Prefer this to their sauvignon. Champagne quality richness, balance and just plain tasty. Had this when I got married and every time since reminds me of one of beat days of my life, ain't that what wine is supposed to do.

This Chardonnay Pinot Noir blend has a citrusy creaminess, backed by yeast. (Kind of like the first bite of a Meyer lemon tart- zing followed by buttery, unsweetened short crust finished with a pinch of minerally sea salt). Fine persistent bubbles.

Well made sparkler, second best on tasting though, medium intensity, green apples and pears, autolytics giving it fruit bread, nuttiness plus there are creamy/diary notes (MLF). High acidity, I reckon this is majority Chardonnay - very nutty on palate!
