Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr.
Single Barrel Straight Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey
Brûlée’d bananas, vanilla, dried fruit. I would think they had a pretty high charred barrel on this bourbon.

Apr 22nd, 2017Low Rye Bourbon with a lot of heat. I'd recommend a drop or two of water to open it up.
Love the nose - dried figs, butterscotch and toasted oak.
Palate - Hot syrupy, with a burst of toasted oak, cinnamon, caramel and honey.

Very good. A little hot going in but smooth on the finish.
